How we can help you

We provide specialised therapy for the entire upper limb, from hand and wrist to forearm and elbow. Our comprehensive services support patients recovering from injuries, managing chronic conditions, and preventing future issues.

Each therapy plan is carefully tailored, addressing both the immediate symptoms and the long-term functionality essential for daily activities.

What we treat

We specialise in treating a wide range of common hand and upper limb conditions to support optimal recovery and function.  We provide tailored care for chronic conditions  which often impact daily activities and quality of life.

Carpel Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is one of the most common hand conditions we treat as hand therapists. It affects the wrist and hand, causing pain, numbness, and tingling, primarily in the thumb, index, and middle fingers

.

Trigger Finger

Trigger finger, also known as stenosing tenosynovitis, is a condition that affects the tendons in your fingers or thumb, making it difficult to straighten them smoothly.

Tendonitis

Tendinopathy (or tendonitis) of the hand and fingers is a common condition that can cause pain, swelling, and difficulty with daily tasks like gripping, typing, or lifting objects. Tendonitis can be experienced in the fingers, wrist forearm or thumb ("Dequervain's Tenosynovitis

Dupytren's Disease

Dupuytren’s disease is a condition where the connective tissue in the palm thickens and forms cords, causing the fingers—often the ring and little fingers—to bend towards the palm.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis of the thumb, also known as basal joint arthritis or thumb CMC (carpometacarpal) joint arthritis, is a common condition that affects the base of the thumb, where the thumb meets the wrist.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that primarily affects the joints. In RA, the immune system mistakenly attacks the lining of the joints, called the synovium. This leads to inflammation, swelling, and pain in the joints.

Elbow Pain

We specialize in diagnosing and treating elbow pain, particularly medial and lateral epicondylalgia, commonly known as golfer's elbow and tennis elbow. These conditions can significantly impact your ability to work, enjoy hobbies, and complete everyday tasks.

Fractures

Our experienced hand therapists work closely with Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgeons as well as General Practitioners specialists to provide holistic care for hand, finger, wrist and forearm  fractures. Our role extends beyond simple treatment, focusing on personalised care to restore function and strength.

Sports Injuries

We specialize in treating hand and upper limb sporting injuries. Whether it's a sprain, fracture, tendon injury, or overuse condition, our expert team provides tailored treatment plans to get you back in the game safely and efficiently.
